Do you have a storefront or retail location? TOP

Currently, LaBella Cupcakes is an online, web based cupcake bakery located in Cleveland, Ohio. You order - we deliver, its as simple as that!

How long have you been in business? TOP

LaBella Cupcakes was launched September of 2009. With 17 years of baking experience and a dream to open an online cupcake business, LaBella Cupcakes was launched.

Can you tell me a little more about you? TOP

My name is Laura Williams and I am the owner of LaBella Cupcakes. I worked in Corporate America for about 15 years until 2009 when I lost my job. I had recently given birth to a baby, went back to work, then lost my job a month later. It came as quite a shock, and I realized very quickly that the job market was in a slump. So my first question was, what was I going to do?

I had a few ideas, but I decided to turn my dream of an online cupcake bakery into a reality. I spent months trying different recipes and altering them to make them just right. I made hundreds  of cupcakes, handed them out to friends and family and asked them for their feedback. I then altered the recipes even more so that we could offer the best tasting cupcakes to our customers.

Can your cupcakes be frozen? TOP

Yes, our cupcakes can be frozen. We make them fresh, and if you are planing on freezing them, you should do so as soon as you receive your delivery from us. 

How to Freeze your Cupcakes: We suggest wrapping your cupcakes individually in plastic wrap. The name brand plastic wraps are a little sturdier and hold up a little better I've found. Leave a little space around the cupcake when wrapping so that your icing does not get damaged. Once wrapped in plastic wrap, wrap the cupcake in foil, then place the wrapped cupcake into a freezer storage bag (the 1 gallon size works the best). Remove as much air as possible from the freezer bag and then place the bag towards the back of your freezer. 

Thawing Your Cupcakes: We suggest only leaving them in the freezer for about a month. When you are ready to thaw, gently remove the wrapping and place on a paper towel in a cool place (not the refrigerator) it must be thawed at room temperature. If you do not remove the wrapping, you will end up with a mushy, gummy cupcake and you don't want that :). If you thaw in the refrigerator it will also cause condensation and you will end up with a gummy cupcake. REMEMBER: Thaw at room temperature. It should be ready to eat in an hour or two.

How far will you deliver? TOP

Our delivery charge is $5 and is included when you checkout online. The coverage area is from Downtown Cleveland and a 20 mile radius (North, South, East or West) of Downtown. We will gladly deliver to any area in Ohio, but there will be an extra delivery charge and is based on 55 cents per mile after the 20th mile. 

Do you use nuts or nut products in your cupcakes or icing? TOP

YES. We do cook our cupcakes and icing in a kitchen where nut products are used. We would highly suggest that if you have any type of nut allergy that you do not order our products. 

Can I purchase cupcakes in advance or as a Gift? TOP

The answer to both questions is YES! 

Purchasing cupcakes as a gift: Order the cupcakes of your choice as you normally would. Upon checkout, make sure the delivery address is correct and in the comments section, please note that this is a gift order. A card will be placed inside the bag that says "this sweet gift is being sent to you by ....." and please mark the day and time that you would like to have the gift delivered. 

Ordering Cupcakes in Advance: If you would like to take advantage of the deal of the day or the free cupcakes, you may order your cupcakes in advance. Order your cupcakes today and in the comments section, list the day you would like to have them delivered. Its no problem at all!

Can I order more than one flavor in a dozen? TOP
Our minimum order is 1 dozen - per flavor. This means that each dozen you order must all be one flavor. You cannot mix and match flavors to equal one dozen. 

How much advance notice do you need for my order? TOP

All orders require a 24 hour notice. Our orders are baked fresh daily. Sometimes we can accommodate rush requests. Please contact us if you have a rush request and we will do our best to accommodate you. You can reach us via email at info@labellacupcakes.com or via phone at (216) 501-1084.

Do you offer refunds if I do not like the flavor? TOP

We list all of our flavors on our website so that our customers know most likely what the flavor you order will taste like. If you receive your cupcakes and you find that the flavor was not what you expected, please let us know. We do not refund orders, but we will be more than happy to discuss each situation as it arises to see if there is something else we can do for you. 

Please note: There are no refunds given for delivery charges.
